Felicia Fdyfil-Horne LCSW is a social work entrepreneur, therapist, educator, advocate, and leader in the field. Felicia is dedicated to creating a safe space for healing.
Felicia has more than 15 years of experience working with mental health agencies that partner with the child welfare system and the Children’s System of Care; including roles providing crisis intervention therapy, trauma focused therapy, individual and family therapy, and Clinical Supervision. (and helping individuals and families find hope in working toward achieving their goals through the collaborative effort of utilizing therapeutic interventions while working within a multi-disciplinary team.) Ms. Fdyfil-Horne has been trained in various evidence-based practices of trauma treatment, including EMDR ( Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), ( ARC (Attachment Self-Regulation and Competence) and Felicia is certified in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Her passion for trauma- informed care extends to supporting culturally inclusive policies and practices. Felicia believes that it could be said that all of therapy is built on a foundation of hope. The hope that one's habits, behaviors, emotions, outlooks, problems, and relationships can change leading to progress and committing to doing the work. She believes that with the proper techniques and the desire to work toward a better tomorrow, progress can be achieved. Felicia and her team are also very passionate about ending the mental health stigma that prevents black and brown communities from taking the step of seeing a therapist. This passion led Felicia to starting a mental health agency developed to present mental health topics in a way that feels more accessible and relevant.
Felicia is the founder and owner of Hope Therapeutic Services, a group private practice and mental health agency located in West Orange, NJ. Hope Therapeutic Services provides therapeutic services to over 1,500 clients annually. HOPE was founded based on the passion and commitment in helping individuals and families find hope through the power of building your own internal and external resources. Felicia is also the founder of Hope Lives Here a 501©3 . Hope Lives Here is a therapeutic mentoring and self-development component of Hope Therapeutic Services, a community-based mental health service provider that has successfully served more than 800 youth since 2016. Felicia holds a Masters of Social Work from Columbia University and she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Felicia received her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Columbia University School of Social Work. Additionally, Felicia is Chair of the Essex County NJ-NASW chapter and she sits on the Board of Trustees for both Family Connections, Inc. and Partners for Health Foundation.
Konniesha Moulton is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, coach, educator and trainer. She believes that every individual has the capacity and right to the life they desire and is committed to creating opportunities for all individuals to reach that potential.
Ms. Moulton has 20 years of experience working with individuals throughout their life cycle. Her career to date has been focused on working within non-profit organizations involved in the child welfare system including, in-home therapeutic treatment, residential treatment facilities, juvenile justice and community resource agencies. Not only has she worked in these capacities, but she has also created new program initiatives to enhance ongoing support for families and children within local communities.
Ms. Moulton is trained in several evidence informed practices such as Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competence (ARC), ARC Grow, Motivational Interviewing, and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Her passion for trauma informed care extends to more than being a trained clinician. As a certified trainer in Parent/Child Interaction Therapy, she utilizes her experience and perspective to develop other mental health professionals, as she believes that viewing the world through a trauma informed lens creates a community of empathetic and authentic providers. Ms. Moulton has a passionate belief that the work of building healthy communities does not stop with trauma informed care but should be more of an integrative approach that includes culturally inclusive policies and practices. Ms. Moulton educates and trains individuals and organizations to ensure they view themselves, their employees, and consumers with cultural humility, as that is how many create meaning in their lives.
Ms. Konniesha Moulton is currently a Program Director for a community based non-profit mental health organization serving Northern New Jersey. Ms. Moulton has also parlayed her passion, purpose and vision into cofounding, Healing Is, an organization focused on providing hypnotherapy, coaching and consultation so others can identify their inner strengths for a re-envisioned view of themselves and their purpose. She is also a founding member of CREW Non-profit (Cancer Reflection and Education Worldwide) a 501c3 organization focused on awareness and support for individuals impacted by cancer.
Hypnotherapy can be an effective method for coping with emotional triggers, stress, fear, and anxiety. Hypnotherapy can be used for pain management, smoking cessation, low self confidence, weight loss, behavior change, treatment side effects, and other mental health conditions.
We work with both individuals and organizations to help you create a foundation for excellence.
